Kaitlyn is in need of some BIG prayers today. She isn't doing well at all. Her coughing is getting much worse and her O2 saturation keeps fluctuating. This morning as she was waking up, she stopped breathing for about 30 seconds, then started breathing for a few breaths and then stopped again for another 30 seconds and finally began breathing regularly again. She is on the maximum amount of oxygen and we are giving her all the needed medications... basically we are doing everything we can right now to help her.
Stephanie, RN, with Hospice, is going to check on Kaitlyn this morning and I will update the blog later as to what she says. Please pray that Kaitlyn be comforted by God's love and our love during this time. That he ease any pain she has and give her a sense of peace as her body struggles to breathe.
