Prayer Service for Kaitlyn in Virginia

Monday January 30th (this Monday)
from 7:00pm- 8:00pm

Mount Vernon Baptist Church
11220 Nuckols Road
Glen Allen, VA 23060

A dear friend from high school, Kristin Gainous-Anderson, has created and organized a prayer service for Kaitlyn in my hometown, just outside of Richmond, VA. We invite anyone and everyone to participate, whether you can actually come to the event or pray for Kaitlyn from afar.

If you have any questions or want to help out, please feel free to contact Kristin through email at hpd9114me@gmail.com

Please come join our extended family, friends and supporters as they lift Kaitlyn up during worship through music and prayer. The prayer service will be in the main sanctuary of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

An offering will be collected with all the monies going to Kaitlyn's Fund. Everyone is welcome. Children are welcome, however please note that they are unable to provide child care.

Due to the severity of Kaitlyn's condition, we will not be present but our hearts will definitely be there and we will be sending messages and photos to be included in the service.

  1. I will be praying from home in Concord. I pray for this sweet girl constantly. I feel like she is family though we have never had the pleasure of meeting. I will continue to lift her up. I pray that she is peaceful, comfortable, pain free and happy in your arms, until she is in Jesus' arms. You all are a true testimony to the meaning of being God's hands and feet. Sweet Kaitlyn has touched so many lives. Mine included. God bless you all in all you do.

  2. Have you thought about skyping with someone that's there, maybe they have a projector and can have you on a big screen, so to them it feels like you're there, and so you can see the people that show up to support you and Kaitlyn. Just a thought. I hope it's a great turn out for you all!

  3. God show this world that miracles still happen. Give this family a long happy healthy life together and leave the world amazed by your power. Our faith and prayers can heal this little girl. Gather the elders of the church together to pray over Kaitlyn and prove to us once more that our FAITH is the ultimate healer in this world. "Lazarus, come out of there."-Jesus

  5. My 2 1/2 year old daughter and I prayed for sweet Kaitlyn tonight. She wanted to be sure I asked Jesus to wrap His arms around Kaitlyn and bring her comfort. I pray for your precious one daily. I want you to know how much Kaitlyn and your family has touched my heart. May God continue to bring you strength and comfort through these trying times.
